Radio Control Conversion:
The Herr 100 Series models are all originally designed as free flight rubber power aircraft, and as such they fly beautifully. These were the first ever laser-cut model airplane kits on the market. Now in this day of miniature radio gear and brushless outrunner electric motors they are enjoying a new life as radio control subjects.
Many experienced modelers are having a great time converting these airplanes to R/C flying. The light structures and stable flight characteristics make these airplanes excellent subjects for R/C. Unfortunately, at this time none of these model kits include instructions for converting to R/C, however there are many excellent "build threads" in the online modeling forums. Search on your favorite forum for the airplane, and you will most likely find excellent help and instruction.
