FLYING STYRO Spitfire Mk-IX ARF
32" wingspan, 27" long, 177 sq. in. wing area, 14 oz. flying weight. Scale model of England's most famous fighter of WW2. A great flying model with all the detail that you would expect from a display model. Completely pre-painted molded foam fuselage, wings with ailerons pre-installed and pre-hinged tail as well as pre-painted vacuformed radiators, guns, exhaust stacks, air scoops and canopy. A detailed pilot figure is included that you must assemble and paint. Included in the kit is a scale looking 4 bladed prop, when you add a SPEED 300 motor (GR3306) and a 7.7:1 gearbox (FS771) the model will fly with authority. Plug in landing gear are included for display. Model requires 8-12 hours to assemble. Requires a 3 channel radio for aileron, elevator and speed control.
